From the desk of Principal

It gives me immense pleasure to extend my warm greetings and best wishes on the publication of the 34th Edition of the Annual College Magazine (2025–26) by the Standard College Students’ Union.

The academic session 2025–26 has been a year of remarkable achievements and transformative developments for Standard College. I am proud to share that the college was conferred the prestigious “Best Performing College in the Manipur State Award for Educational Excellence, 2025.” This honour reflects the dedication of our faculty, the achievements of our students, and the collective efforts of all stakeholders in advancing academic excellence and institutional growth. The year also witnessed the successful implementation of the Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUP) based on NEP 2020, along with the opening of the Fourth-Year Degree Course. These developments mark significant progress in enhancing academic flexibility, multidisciplinary learning, and research opportunities for our students

Beyond academics, our students have excelled in sports, cultural activities, literary events, NSS programmes, and community engagement, bringing distinction and recognition to the college. Their achievements exemplify the spirit of hard work, discipline, and excellence that defines Standard College. This magazine beautifully captures these accomplishments and serves as a record of the vibrant academic and cultural life of our institution.

I sincerely appreciate the efforts of the Standard College Students’ Union, the Editorial Board, faculty members, and all contributors for bringing out this publication. Their dedication has ensured the continuation of a rich tradition that nurtures creativity, critical thinking, and intellectual expression.

I hope that this edition of the magazine will inspire our students to dream big, strive for excellence, and contribute meaningfully to society. May it continue to serve as a source of knowledge, inspiration, and pride for the entire Standard College community.

I extend my best wishes for the success of this 34th Edition of our Annual College Magazine and for the continued growth and achievements of Standard College
