There shall be Eight-Semester ( 4 – year) course of study leading to the award of Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Science degree.
Bachelor of Arts (B.A.)
Economics, Education, English, Geography, History, Home Science, Manipuri, Mathematics, Political Science, Sociology, Economics, Statistics.
Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.)
Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science.
A student of Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science should offer the following subjects:
1. Modern Indian Language (any one of the following in first and second semester)
a) Manipuri,
b) Hindi,
c) Bengali,
d) Hmar,
e) Mizo,
f) Nepali,
g) Paite
2. Regional Development (North-East) in 3rd Semester.
3. Elective and Honours subjects (any three of the subjects given above under B.A and B.Sc. courses).
Note:
- No student will be allowed to opt chemistry, Botany, Zoology unless he/she passed 10+2 with Chemistry As a major subject
- No student will be allowed to opt Mathematics, Physics, Statistics unless he/she has passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a major subject..
- No student will be allowed to opt Physics unless he/she passed 10+2 with Physics as a major subject.
- Honours paper should be one of the Elective papers offered in the previous semesters.
